Have you ever had a dream that won't go away? We had that sort of dream and found that lots of others did too. So we thought it would be a great idea to turn it into reality.

The result is the New Beetle. We kept the spirit of the old Beetle - the unique shape, the large smile and the loveable character. We fitted modern engines for power and efficiency; we ensured the highest build quality; then we added lots of standard equipment.

The subtle restyle of the classic New Beetle shape coincides with the arrival of the new Luna models extra value entry level trims available with a 1.4 or 1.6 engine. In addition, a new range of vibrant exterior paint colours, stylish alloy wheels, new upholstery fabrics and chrome finished interior air vents and instruments are available for an even greater feeling of quality inside.

New Beetle Cabriolet

If you can see a traffic jam as a sunbathing opportunity this car's for you. Parallels with the original model are striking. Like its hard top sister, it retains the Beetle curves, and combines style with plenty of room to take four people to the beach.

But the New Beetle Cabriolet is a thoroughly modern interpretation of our classic design. The fully automatic electrohydraulic roof folds down in just 13 seconds. And all the windows can be opened in unison via a central switch. A sophisticated alarm, front and side airbags and automatically deploying rollover protection are also fitted as standard.
